our story
The Collective BAE WAS CONCEIVED IN 2016 BY INTER-DISCIPLINARY ARTIST, THOUGHT LEADER, AND well-being FACILITATOR REEM βDRΔΔΔMYβ ABDOU IN BROOKLYN, NEW YORK. She initiated the community first as a multi-genre event that modeled what a holistic creative ecosystem that primarily featured, uplifted, connected, and resourced women could look and feel like.
the vision of the collective was first seeded during dreeemyβs university years as she ideated socio-economic solutions for intergenerational poverty and structural inequality and came into understanding and remembrance of sacred/circular solidarity economy.
the collective has since evolved from being a one-night transformational experience to a full-spectrum event production company, booking agency, Creative label, mentorship/educational platform, and consultancy at the intersection of art, music, culture, climate, and consciousness modeling ecosystem APPROACHES around care, reciprocity, and horizontal leadership.
BAE continues to be a pioneer in revolutionizing several socio-cultural spaces including in nightlife, the healing arts, the environment, and the music & entertainment industries.
The collective is a 501(c)3 fiscally-sponsored organization through etina.
The collective now offers > (re)memberships < training & initiating new generations of healing artists, facilitators, and leaders into creating offerings of impact & building their own regenerative conscious community spaces.
